Lynn Rasmussen applies systems thinking to produce solutions to everyday problems. She founded Icanology LLC (then Mohala Media LLC) to co-publish her book Men Are Easy with Greenleaf Book Group. In Summer, 2009, inspired by a long time hobby of teaching math, Lynn formed a team to develop iphone games, Arithmaroo, MathGirl Number Garden, MathGirl Addition House, and more. She’s now applying game theory and a systems view of education to the development of SkillStory.com. Thirty years ago she was the health coordinator for HeadStart on Maui, Molokai, and Lanai. After volunteering and tutoring in public schools, she founded the Paia Youth and Cultural Center. She has an MA in psychology and systems theory from Saybrook Research Institute where she applied systems theory with Bela Banathy Sr. This year she co-wrote a paper with Len Troncale for the meeting of the International Society for the Systems Sciences. As a coach and investor, she supports local business development and is an active member of the Friends of the Hawaii Local Exchange. She and her husband, Richard, live in Makawao, Maui, Hawaii.
Molly Rasmussen graduated from Cornell University in 2003 and worked as a successful swimwear designer in Los Angeles for 7 years. In April 2010, Molly joined Lynn to upgrade Arithmaroo and produce the MathGirl series. Molly applies her experience with design and trends to the wild new world of app design. In 2011, she co-founded GreenFunder.com. She lives two blocks from the beach in Venice, California.
Robert Tegel Bonifacio of Code Robert LLC published his first game with Atari at age 12. He has developed games for over 30 years and at one time, ran teams for Electronic Arts in Seattle. He now lives in Kula, Maui, and wants to develop products that make a difference.
